Penrith Town (www.penrithtown.co.uk)

Penrith Partnership were given the task of generating a web site to market Penrith through the Market Town Initiative. The web site had to be of interest to both locals and visitors to the town, while attracting interest from the business sector.
It was decided to break the web site down into these three sections, Living, Visiting and Business and also include a further section for the Partnership itself. This later part is open to the public and also has a password protected area for the members, which is controlled by the site administrator through a content managed system.
The site includes a random image selector for the montage at the head of each page, which is fed from a database of images. This helps give the impression of the site looking fresh each time a visitor views a page, even if the content has not been changed for a while.
The entire content of the site is managed through a content managed system by the web site administrator at the Penrith Partnership.

Richard Siddle decided a change of direction was required and formed Kirkstone Photography in 2006. Although Richard had been a very successful chartered accountant for over twelve years he realised that he had lost sight of the things that really interested him.
His web site is set up to not only show examples of his work but also has a full ecommerce section where you can choose a print, mount and frame as you go along.
The site also includes a random image selector for the main photograph at the head of each page, which is fed from a database of images. There is also an eNewsletter sign up facility where Richard intends to send out relevant information about his services and events.
The entire content of the site is managed through a content managed system by the web site administrator.

Colour Me Clodhoppers (www.colourmeclodhoppers.co.uk)

Having designed bridal ware for over forty years, Lynne Hardman had been asked on many occasions to embellish shoes and accessories to compliment the dresses. While regarding this as an addition to her main business, it became clear, the embellishment services were taking over as not only brides but other outlets were becoming more interested in this service.
In 2006 Lynne developed Colour Me Clodhoppers as a viable business and with her vision we helped create this ecommerce web site. Not only are you able to buy shoes online, the embellishment service is also available online too.
The entire content of the site is managed through a content managed system by Lynne at Colour Me Clodhoppers.

The Whitehaven Brewing Company Limited (www.twbcl.co.uk)

Beer has been brewed in Whitehaven and the surrounding area for several hundred years, and was the staple drink of the townsfolk in the days when there was no reliable supply of clean drinking water. The breweries of Whitehaven, Parton, Egremont and Cleator Moor had a proud tradition which sadly lapsed in the early years of the twentieth century.
The Whitehaven Brewing Company revive that proud tradition, bringing a choice of real ales which have not been treated with chemicals to extend their life or ’Äòimprove’Äô their flavour.
This web site was produced to firstly bring awareness of their products then ultimately for ecommerce.
